Super Yacht Surface Drug Testing

Marine Testing Solutions now offer a comprehensive and scientifically based service, relating to all aspects of super yacht surface drug testing on-board.

This new service provided can be either programmed at the end of each charter or can be reactive when the Captain or charter management company suspects drug use and wishes to manage the risk. The service has been designed to offer a ‘firewall’ between charters.

Testing results are obtained immediately and if positive, remedial work can be undertaken immediately to clinically clean any affected areas, thereby removing all traces of drugs detected.

For the areas clinically cleaned, these are then re-tested to provide proof that they are now trace free. The vessel is then certified that it is drug trace free.

If the testing results obtained are negative, then the vessel is certified that it is drug trace free.

Certification will provide the charter management company with the necessary proof and scientific data for compliance and for their auditing systems.

All of the above work is fully certified on completion by ourselves and our retained laboratory. All certification is backed up with scientific data for your records.

Our testing protocol is approved by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Society) and SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration).
